Bisnis.com, JAKARTA – Valencia Tanoesoedibjo recently came into the spotlight after her lover, badminton player Kevin Sanjaya, uploaded a set of two-shot photos, which went viral.
However, apart from being Kevin's couple, Valencia is no stranger to the television media business. She is arguably one of the successors to the Hary Tanoesoedibjo business arms.
Valencia is the second daughter of Indonesian tycoon Hary Tanoesoedibjo, Forbes' 40th richest person in Indonesia, and Liliana Tanoesoedibjo.
The apple never falls far from the tree. Born to a family keen on the media business, Valencia's career is now following the family's path. According to her official Linkedin account, Valencia, who just turned 29 years on January 13, 2022, has already sat on the board of directors of MNC Media.
Currently, Valencia serves as Director of Digital Business of PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk. (MNCN) since January 2021. Meanwhile, she is also responsible for Global TV and RCTI+ as Managing Director. Based on Bisnis's search, she is listed as one of the shareholders with a total of 735,400 shares.
What's more, she is also listed as the director of another MNC Group entity, PT MNC Studios International Tbk. (MSIN), citing Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) data. Valencia also owns a 0,18 percent stake in MSIN, equivalent to 20,550,000 shares.
